User Agreement
BY USING THIS PORTAL AND/OR VIEWING MATERIAL ON THIS PORTAL, YOU AGREE TO BECOME BOUND BY THE TERMS
OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, DO NOT USE THIS PORTAL OR ANY
PORTION THEREOF IN ANY FORM OR MANNER.
This Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of the eAccess II Portal ("Portal") developed by the
Advanced e-Services for the Knowledge Society Research Unit (ASK) of the Informatics and Telematics
Institute (ITI) at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) with funding from the
eAccess II Project of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme [Contract No: LLP-LdV/TOI/2007/EL/04].
USE OF THE PORTAL IN ANY FORM OR MANNER CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO COMPLY WITH ALL THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
CERTH may change, modify, or update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Portal
constitutes your acceptance of these changes, modifications, or updates.
Terms of Usage
Information, materials, comments and all other submissions to the Portal by you or any other user
becomes the property of the eAccess II Portal upon submission.
The eAccess II Portal does not endorse, support, sanction, encourage, verify or agree with the comments,
opinions or statements posted by you or any other user. Any information or material placed online
by you or any other user, including advice and opinions, is the view and responsibility of the
submitter and does not necessarily represent the view of Portal.
If you do not want or can not abide by all of the terms of this Agreement you may not use this Portal
in any manner whether directly or indirectly.
Personal Information
The eAccess II Portal is dedicated to supporting an individuals right to have their personal information
held in the strictest confidence. This Portal does not collect personally identifiable information
about individuals except when specifically, knowingly and voluntarily provided by such individuals.
A users personally identifiable information will not be transferred, sold or loaned to any third
party.
IP Addresses
The eAccess II Portal may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to
administer our Portal. Your IP address is also used to gather broad demographic information for
statistical research purposes only.
Editing and Deletions
The eAccess II Portal reserves the right, but undertakes no duty, to review, edit, move or delete any
material posted by users, in its sole discretion and without notice.
Modifications to the Agreement
The eAccess II Portal reserves the right to add, change, or modify, from time to time, sections of this
Agreement. The eAccess II Portal shall take reasonable steps to indicate which sections have been added,
changed, or modified. Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to comply with these additional
rules.
Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE USING THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," AND
THE SERVICE PROVIDER AND ITS AFFILIATES HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS AND
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY,
NON-INFRINGEMENT, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, CONDITION, GUARANTEE OR
REPRESENTATION, WHETHER ORAL, IN WRITING OR IN ELECTRONIC FORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE
ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY INFORMATION CONTAINED THEREIN OR PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE.
THE SERVICE PROVIDER AND ITS AFFILIATES DO NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT ACCESS TO THE SERVICE WILL
BE UNINTERRUPTED OR THAT THERE WILL BE NO FAILURES, ERRORS OR OMISSIONS OR LOSS OF TRANSMITTED
INFORMATION, OR THAT NO VIRUSES WILL BE TRANSMITTED ON THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE PROVIDER AND ITS
AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTIES FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ALLEGEDLY SUSTAINED ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY
TO ACCESS THE SERVICE, INCLUDING FOR VIRUSES ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE, YOUR
USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE OR ANY OF THE INFORMATION OR MATERIALS AVAILABLE ON THE SERVICE,
REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF CLAIM OR THE NATURE OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
If you do not agree to the terms contained in this Agreement, please exit the Portal immediately.
